No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require any complaint, information, or indictment in the prosecution of a criminal offense related to resisting arrest to state the underlying offense for which the person was resisting arrest.
According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated.
