No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require the Legislative Budget Board to prepare a biennial report on recidivism to include rearrest, reconviction and reincarceration rates.
It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
