HB1128 by Jetton (Relating to persons permitted to be in a polling place or a place where ballots are being counted.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to clarify those individuals who may be lawfully present in a polling place from the time the election judge arrives to the time the precinct returns have been assembled and distributed after an election. The bill would provide the same clarification for the early voting ballot board and the central counting station.
According to the Secretary of State, the bill would not have a significant fiscal implication to the State.

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated.
