No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Texas Government Code relating to certain regulations adopted by governmental entities restricting the use of natural gas or propane.

According to the Office of the Attorney General and the Public Utility Commission, any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.

According to the Texas Facilities Commission, the Office of Public Utility Counsel, and the Railroad Commission, no fiscal impact is anticipated from the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League, no significant fiscal impact to municipalities is anticipated.

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated.
