No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the response and resilience of certain utilities to major weather-related events or natural disasters could be absorbed using existing resources.

The bill creates the Texas Electric Utility System Restoration Corporation and notes that the state shall not budget for or provide any general fund appropriations to the corporation.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
