HB1781 by Krause (Relating to the propagation of breeder deer by cloning.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to allow the holder of a deer breeder's permit to propagate breeder deer by cloning. The bill would also allow the Parks and Wildlife Commission to make regulations governing the propagation of breeder deer by breeding. 

Based on information provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2021, or immediately if it received a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house.
