HB1838 by González, Mary (Relating to intelligence databases for combinations and criminal street gangs.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Based upon the information provided by the Department of Public Safety, it is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to intelligence databases for combinations and criminal street gangs could be absorbed using existing resources.
This analysis assumes the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources.
Local Government Impact
According to the Justices of Peace and Constable's Association, no fiscal impact to justices of peace is anticipated.
