HB1905 by Harris (Relating to relieving regional water planning groups of certain duties.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code to remove certain duties of regional water planning groups, including removing the obligation for these groups to submit certain reports and surveys. 

Based on information provided by the Texas Water Development Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
