No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to establish and maintain a database of information related to uterine fibroids using available data. DSHS, in consultation with the Texas Medical Association (TMA), would be required to identify and post on its website resources and educational materials related to uterine fibroids. DSHS indicated that the provisions of the bill could be implemented using existing resources.
