No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would expand the composition of the Texas Medical Disclosure Panel from nine to eleven members and would prevent the Health and Human Services Commission from appointing certain persons as panel members representing the public.
The Health and Human Services Commission indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.
