No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the Railroad Commission to capture an image using an unmanned aircraft in connection with the inspection or examination of an oil or gas site or facility, a pipeline facility, or a surface mining site.

Based on information provided by the Railroad Commission and the Department of Public Safety, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
