No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government and Health and Safety Codes to require certain local officials to submit contact information to the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and local health departments during a declared state of disaster or in other times of public emergency.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill's provisions could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated. No significant fiscal implication to other units of local government is anticipated.
