No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
This bill would amend the Election Code related to early voting by mail.
The Secretary of State indicates that the provisions of the bill relating to the agency could be absorbed within existing resources.
Local Government Impact
According to Chambers and Fort Bend counties, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
According to Williamson County, the bill would cost the county an estimated $20,000 per year.
