IN RE:
HB3324 by Morales, Eddie (Relating to the designation of certain rest areas in Culberson County as the U.S. Border Patrol Agent Rogelio Martinez rest area.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Subchapter Y, Chapter 201, Transportation Code, to require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect markers designating certain rest areas on Interstate 10 in Culberson County as the U.S. Border Patrol Agent Rogelio Martinez Rest Areas, provided that a grant or donation of private funds is made to TxDOT to cover the costs.

TxDOT indicates that any duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
