No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to provide that a person maintains a common nuisance if the person maintains a place to which persons habitually go to for burglary of a vehicle in violation of Penal Code Section 30.04 and the person knowingly tolerates the activity and fails to make reasonable attempts to abate the activity.
Based on information provided by the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated as a result from implementing the provisions of the bill.
