HB3340 by Swanson (relating to the appeal of certain orders regarding dangerous dogs.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to provide that any order to destroy a dog is stayed for a period of 10 calendar days from the date the order is issued, during which period the dog's owner may file a notice of appeal.

According to the Office of Court Administration (OCA), no significant fiscal impact to the State court system is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to OCA, no significant fiscal impact to units of local government is anticipated.
