No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Family Code to require the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to develop a request for information to assist in the development of a strategic plan to improve prevention and early intervention services and send the request for information to certain groups. The bill would also require DFPS to collaborate with other agencies to develop an inventory of programs and services and to facilitate opportunities to increase collaboration. 

Based on the analysis of DFPS, the Health and Human Services Commission, the Office of the Attorney General, the Texas Workforce Commission, the Department of State Health Services, and the Texas Education Agency, it is assumed that the costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
