No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to authorize the State Preservation Board to approve and establish a memorial monument on the State Capitol grounds dedicated to emergency medical services personnel, as defined by Sec. 773.003 of the Health and Safety Code. The bill would direct the Preservation Board to only use private contributions to create, establish, and maintain the monument.  It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
