No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code relating to required components of groundwater management plans and petitions challenging the reasonableness of those plans. 

Based on information provided by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) and the Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), no significant fiscal impact to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to TWDB and TCEQ, no fiscal impact on units of local government is anticipated.
