No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would remove 16 river authorities from review by the Sunset Advisory Commission. The bill would have no fiscal impact to the Sunset Advisory Commission as it recovers the costs of reviews of river authorities as appropriated receipts.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. River authorities would likely achieve savings based on no longer having to pay for the cost of Sunset Advisory Commission reviews.
