It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the acceptance and counting of early voting ballots voted by mail could be absorbed using existing resources.

Cameron County does not anticipate a significant fiscal impact. Williamson County expects a fiscal impact of $20,000 per election. The fiscal impact to other units of local government is not anticipated to be significant.
