HB4020 by Spiller (Relating to the operation of the juvenile boards of Crosby and Lubbock Counties.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Human Resources Code to authorize the juvenile boards of Crosby and Lubbock Counties and the juvenile boards of one or more counties that are adjacent to or in close proximity to those respective counties to agree to operate together with respect to all or certain specified matters. 

Local Government Impact

According to the Crosby County Auditor and the Juvenile Probation Office of Crosby County, no significant fiscal impact to the county is anticipated, but the bill would be beneficial for the county. The probation office estimates $50,000 in savings per fiscal year due to a reduction in personnel benefits.

According to the Lubbock County Auditor and the Juvenile Probation Office of Lubbock County, no significant fiscal impact to the county is anticipated.
