The bill would amend Government Code Chapter 531 relating to claims processes and reimbursement for, and overpayment recoupment processes imposed on, health care providers under Medicaid. This analysis assumes there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill that could be
absorbed within current resources.
