No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to provide for the prompt review of land development applications and the award of court costs and attorney's fees against a political subdivision in certain actions.

According to the Office of Court Administration (OCA), no significant fiscal impact to the State court system is anticipated. 

Local Government Impact

According to OCA, no significant fiscal impact to units of local government is anticipated. 

Williamson County anticipates the bill requiring the hiring of two additional planners and an engineer, at a total cost of approximately $375,000 per year.
