No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family Code to provide that if the petitioner requests the establishment or modification of periods of possession of or access to a child, the citation must include notice of the options for periods of possession of or access to a child under a standard possession order under Chapter 153, Subchapter F.
The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to provide that if a pending dispute concerns the establishment or modification of periods of possession of or access to a child, the notification must include notice of the alternative beginning and ending times for possession of or access to a child under Family Code Section 153.317.
Based on information provided by the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated as a result from implementing the provisions of the bill.
