No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business and Commerce Code relating to the control of virtual currency and the rights of purchasers who obtain control of virtual currency for purposes of the Uniform Commercial Code.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.

According to the Comptroller's Office, no fiscal impact is anticipated from the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
