LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

May 22, 2021

TO:
Honorable Paul Bettencourt, Chair, Senate Committee on Local Government

FROM:
Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB4667 by Morales, Eddie (Relating to the transfer of certain state property from the Department of Public Safety to the City of Eagle Pass.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the transfer of certain state property from the Department of Public Safety to the City of Eagle Pass could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
