No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $178,333.

The joint resolution would propose a constitutional amendment requiring a judge or magistrate to impose the least restrictive conditions of bail that may be necessary and authorizing the denial of bail under some circumstances to a person accused of a violent or sexual offense or of continuous trafficking of persons.

According to the Office of Court Administration (OCA), no significant fiscal impact to the State court system is anticipated. 

Local Government Impact

According to OCA, no significant fiscal impact to units of local government is anticipated.
