The fiscal implications relating to the creation of the Texas brain university research initiative cannot be determined at this time due to the unavailability of data related to the number of institutions that would participate and the grant amount that would be awarded through the program. 

It is assumed that the costs associated with the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
