No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill.

It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the governance of the Public Utility Commission of Texas, the Office of Public Utility Counsel, and an independent organization certified to manage a power region could be absorbed using existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
