No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize continuing education instruction for county commissioners to be completed online.
Local Government Impact
According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill could have a small positive fiscal impact for some counties but it would not be significant.
