IN RE:
SB396 by Lucio (Relating to the establishment of school district policies regarding the marketing and commercial advertising of food products on school district property.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the establishment of school district policies regarding the marketing and commercial advertising of food products on school district property could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
There may be costs to districts for the local school health advisory councils to conduct a review of district policies, determine the extent to which policies conflict with other council recommendations, and recommend additional policies procedures, strategies, and curricula.
