No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the medical school at the University of Houston and the college of osteopathic medicine at Sam Houston State University to participate in the Joint Admission Medical Program. Based on analysis of agency responses, it is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions could be absorbed using existing resources.
