No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require the commissioners court of each county to establish an adult sexual assault response team. The bill would authorize two or more counties, each with a population of 250,000 or less, within a contiguous area to partner to form a multicounty response team.
