IN RE:
SB863 by Blanco (Relating to the temporary relocation of a residential child-care facility during a declared state of disaster.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would allow the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to authorize a residential child-care facility to temporarily relocate to a new location or provide care to one or more children at an additional location that is not stated in the facility's license application.
HHSC indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.
