IN RE:	SB906 by Perry (Relating to the civil commitment of sexually violent predators.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Civil Commitment Office to report a change in address of a person who is civilly committed as a sexually violent predator and resides in a location other than the civil commitment center to each local law enforcement authority serving as the current or proposed primary registration authority for the person to register as a sex offender.

This analysis assumes there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill that could be absorbed within current resources.
