No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Code of Criminal Procedure regarding the denial or reduction of an award otherwise payable under the Crime Victims' Compensation Act.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.

According to the Comptroller's Office, no fiscal impact is anticipated from the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
