IN RE:
SB1166 by Campbell (Relating to who may request a public hearing from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality related to the construction of a concrete plant.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to clarify the type of person that may request a public hearing from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) on the construction of a concrete plant. Based on the analysis of the TCEQ, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
