SB1210 by Johnson (Relating to substitutes for hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants applicable to commercial or residential buildings or construction.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to require that hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants applicable to commercial or residential buildings in construction not be prohibited from building codes or other requirements. 
 
Based on information provided by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
