No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 16 of the Civil Practices and Remedies Code by limiting periods for which certain suits against real estate appraisers and appraisal firms can be made.
According to the Office of the Attorney General, it is anticipated that any work resulting from the passage of this bill could reasonably be absorbed within current resources.
According to the Real Estate Commission, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
