LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 30, 2021

TO:
Honorable Tracy O. King, Chair, House Committee on Natural Resources

FROM:
Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
SB1441 by Campbell (Relating to withdrawals of water from the Edwards Aquifer to supply a military installation.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the withdrawal of water from the Edwards Aquifer for military installation use could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
