SB1704 by Blanco (Relating to the designation of the portion of United States Highway 54 in El Paso County as the Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway.), As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, to require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect highway markers naming  specific portions or segments of the state highway. 

Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
