No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend provisions in the Transportation Code relating to certain vehicle size and weight limitations to conform with applicable federal laws related to automobile transporters, towaway trailer transporter combinations, emergency vehicles, vehicle idle reduction systems. 

Based on the information provided by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State.

This analysis does not include an estimate of the impact on pavement or bridge consumption that may be associated with the vehicle size and weight limitations authorized by the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
