No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

The bill would have a financial impact on the City of Houston, as it would no longer be allowed to impose a sales tax in certain areas, which would dismantle the city's strategic partnership agreement program. 

Fiscal impact to other cities cannot be determined at this time due to an absence of responses.
