The provisions of the bill addressed by this analysis would amend the Government Code as it relates to the exception to disclosure under the public information law of certain personal information contained in a citation issued for a violation of a state traffic law or local traffic ordinance.  Under the provisions of the bill, an individual's home address and personal telephone number, with some exceptions, would otherwise be excepted from the requirements for disclosure when that individual is the subject of a citation.
