Pursuant to a notice posted on September 17, 2021, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Burns, at 9:03 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Burns; Bailes; Cyrier; Guillen; Herrero; and Rosenthal.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The Committee met jointly with the Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism to hear invited testimony only on proposed rules by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Animal Health Commission related to Chronic Wasting Disease.
