Pursuant to a notice posted on October 15, 2021, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Bonnen, at 3:35 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Bonnen; González, Mary; Ashby; Bell, Cecil; Dean; Dominguez; Howard; Johnson, Ann; Morrison; Raney; Rose; Schaefer; Sherman, Sr.; Stucky; Thompson, Ed; VanDeaver; Wilson; and Zwiener.

 

A quorum was present.

SB 52

 

The chair laid out SB 52.

 

Representative Wilson offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair explained SB 52.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Ashby moved that SB 52, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
