Pursuant to a notice posted on May 3, 2021, and permission granted on May 3, 2021, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on International Relations & Economic Development met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Button, at 4:14 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Button; Morales, Christina; Beckley; Bell, Cecil; Canales; Hunter; and Ordaz Perez.

The chair laid out SB 770, the companion to HB 1791.

 

Representative Morales, Christina moved that SB 770, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
