Pursuant to a notice posted on October 11, 2021, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Burrows, at 9:30 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Burrows; Moody; Harris; Hefner; Hernandez; Leman; Patterson; and Slawson.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Representative Patterson moved to place the following measures: 

 

on the Constitutional Amendments Calendar for Wednesday, October 13, 2021:  SJR 1.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Burrows; Harris; Hefner; Leman; Patterson; Slawson (6).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Moody; Hernandez (2).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Craddick; Rose; Talarico (3).

 

At 9:31 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
