Pursuant to a notice posted on March 31, 2021, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 2:58 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Rose; Goldman; Jetton; Landgraf; Morrison; Murr; Thompson, Senfronia; and Turner, Chris.

A quorum was present.

The Committee held a regional hearing on East Texas. Testimony was taken from the State Demographer. The Committee also heard testimony from the public.

At 4:29 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
